New black point compensation model wins Distinguished Paper Award from SID

Los Angeles, CA – The Society for Information Display has awarded the Paper “Achieving High Color Reproduction Accuracy in LCDs for Color-Critical Applications” it’s Distinguished Paper Award. Karl Lang of Lumita is a co-author of the paper and worked on the research methods and black point compensation model introduced at the conference.
